Tomas, what specific challenges or gaps were you trying to address when you partnered with Angelcam?

We chose Angelcam as a partner because we were looking for a reliable and flexible way to bring our customers’ camera systems into the cloud. Our goal was to extend our security offering with direct IP-camera integration into our alarm systems. Thanks to the collaboration we can now offer a unique link between cameras and JABLOTRON alarms. Customers can connect any RTSP-compatible camera through our JI-120T converter, and we also offer three JABLOTRON-branded IP cameras that plug straight into our cloud ecosystem. The result is a fully integrated security solution that combines the advantages of an alarm with video surveillance.

Why did you choose Angelcam’s platform over other providers? What stood out the most?

Personal experience played a big role. I had already used Angelcam’s services both privately and in my previous job, so I knew the company had years of expertise in cloud-based camera solutions. Another deciding factor was that most Angelcam employees are Czech, which makes communication smoother and deepens mutual understanding.

How has Angelcam’s solution improved your ability to deliver value to your customers (e.g., faster response times, better reliability, cost savings)?

Angelcam’s openness and reliability let us deliver services more efficiently. Because the platform relies on standard video codecs, we aren’t tied to special libraries or closed systems, which simplifies development, integration and maintenance. Support for the widely used RTSP protocol means we can offer a truly universal, flexible system regardless of camera brand or model. From a reliability standpoint, we see Angelcam as stable and trustworthy—critical for us and our customers when choosing a cloud partner.

What makes Angelcam’s connectivity platform unique compared to other solutions on the market?

Its openness, ability to keep pace with modern technology trends and constant drive for innovation. Angelcam actively develops the platform and looks for new ways to add value for partners and end users alike.

What has been the feedback from your customers (monitoring stations, distributors, or end users) regarding the integration with Angelcam?

Customer feedback has been positive. They appreciate the new device that lets them easily connect a broad range of external cameras, freeing them from hardware lock-in. Monitoring stations, distributors and end users also look forward to additional features; we actively capture these requests and continually roll out new capabilities that increase our solution’s market value.

Do you see this partnership as a competitive advantage? If so, how?

Absolutely. Camera systems and security technology naturally complement one another—each makes the other more valuable. We specialise in alarms, so we needed a partner to cover the camera segment professionally. Angelcam fits perfectly thanks to its focus, expertise and technological readiness. Their proactive monitoring of market developments and video-surveillance trends helps us grow together and deliver modern, meaningful solutions.

How would you describe your overall experience working with Angelcam?

Highly professional. From the start we held open negotiations on possibilities and terms, leading to a partnership agreement. Implementation involved efficient, constructive collaboration between our development teams. In day-to-day operations we especially value Angelcam’s rapid responses to unusual technical situations—vital for maintaining system reliability and trustworthiness.

If you were to recommend Angelcam to another company, what would you say?

I wouldn’t hesitate. Our experience has been very positive. I most appreciate the development team’s expertise and the leadership’s clear vision. The CEO’s personal involvement in evolving the business model and service quality is, in my view, a key success factor.

If you could summarise the impact of this partnership in one sentence, what would it be?

By partnering with Angelcam we have enabled customers to connect any RTSP camera, giving them a universal, scalable and highly reliable security solution.
